Josh is a NYC-based composer, arranger, orchestrator and musician. Originally from Ardsley, New York, Josh has been devoted to music since age 2, when he began plunking out melodies on his family's upright piano. By 4, he was taking piano lessons, later diving into jazz and classical training. His love for musical theatre was sparked after seeing his first Broadway show at age 9, and cemented when he played the opening chords of "Pippin" at French Woods Festival.
Josh earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano from the Manhattan School of Music and his MFA from NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, where he wrote his first full-length musical, loosely based on Oscar Wilde’s The Star Child. Music director credits: Tuck Everlasting, Oliver!, Sweet Charity, The Prom, & Joseph…Dreamcoat. Arranger/Orchestrator credits: A New Brain with Tony winner William Finn, multiple charts with the New York Pops, and Air Supply’s Graham Russell. Josh has arranged and played with Brian Stokes Mitchell, Paul Gemignani, Andrea Burns, Kerry Butler, and Steven Reineke.
Josh is a proud member of the Disney Cruise Line family since 2018.
